Los Blancos have beaten Getafe (2-0) and Girona (1-4) and shown off in the final third with a more consistent Gareth Bale, who netted two goals in two outings, and Karim Benzema who has done the same. Lopetegui now hopes for another such display and we do feel the visitors will have their hands full.

Leganes have had more troubles getting their campaign underway and we’ve seen a 2-1 loss at Atletico Bilbao and a thriller 2-2 draw against Real Sociedad in front of the home crowd, where only two goals and a very late equalizer from Nabil El Zhar secured a point.

Lega will now be desperate to catch a break and snatch their first win of the campaign but it’s really hard seeing them do it at Santiago Bernabeu, especially with their struggles to retain consistency at the back. They’ve seen many slip-ups and any on the day could prove very costly.

Real Madrid have bounced back from a 2-4 UEFA Super Cup loss to city rivals Atletico Madrid and we’ve seen them bag six points in two convincing displays early in their La Liga campaign. They now hope to build on the streak and come off as heavy favourites to do so.
