Sarri ball continues as Chelsea face Newcastle

The hosts Newcastle will be looking to secure their first win of the season after losing to Tottenham on the opening weekend and drawing 0-0 with Cardiff but will be without Kenedy and Isaac Hayden, with the Englishman sent off in the draw in South Wales.

Alvaro Morata may have grabbed the headlines for his goal in the 3-2 win over Arsenal last week also N’Golo Kante has adapted to his slightly more advanced role like a duck to water and has, once again, been brilliant, accompanied by his new midfield partner Jorginho.

Joselu’s header against Spurs is the only goal Newcastle have scored this season so far but the acquisition of Salomon Rondon on loan could help provide an attacking threat.

Newcastle United have won four of their last five home Premier League matches against Chelsea (D1), winning 3-0 on the final day of the 2017/18 campaign.
